Laptop still down

This is weird. I miss my laptop. I’m currently using my brother’s MacBook, and man, I’m lost!

Here I am, exploring the MacBook. Hahaha, photobooth! XD

Call of weirdness on a Sunday.

Now, I want sushi.

22 January 2012

A pretty long and tiring day, if you ask me! Especially for me, who’s still sick and who walked under the sun! But we already bought tickets for the play Romeo and Juliet a few days ago so there was no turning back!

A cuppa hot tea while waiting to go to Cap - John Hay to watch Romeo and Juliet with Shauna

We then had lunch at Cuccinino at Porta Vaga. We both had the Today’s Special which was Tuna in Tomato Sauce (I forgot the Italian name..) While waiting for our meal, I noticed the cute red mail box! I asked Kuya Dar, their cook/chef, what it was for. He told us that it is their tip box! I’d like to have it for myself. Haha

Shauna at Mt. Cloud. Man, I have never seen her so.. engrossed! Shauna in a book store? Man, she was checking all the books out! It was new to me! Hahaha

And here are other stuff we found:

Man, how I wish I could post more than one picture in my Project 366.

That, my friends, is lunch. My failed attempt to make rainbow pancakes.

Went cloud gazing. I lay down under the sun. T’was a fun experience.

Friends, meet our garden gnomes.

I am a young mango fruit

The Word today in Church talks about fruitfulness. What kind of fruit are we and have we even bore fruits. That message today hit me.

I’m a young mango fruit that have ceased to grow/ripen. I have stopped due to hindrances such as sinning. I haven’t realized that until I’ve grown farther away. However, the Lord doesn’t push us away from Him. He lifts us up, straighten our paths and direct us to Him. Despite all that we do, He still intervenes and makes way for us to be back to Him.

Now, I’ve seen my mistakes. I’m back and I pray for strength. I don’t want just to ripen, I want to bear fruit and bring glory and honor to His name.

Here is my prayer:

Dear Lord, thank You for never neglecting me, for straightening my ways. Lord, I pray that you guide me, strengthen my faith in you, oh Lord. Thank you for Your word. I pray that Your Holy Spirit may work in me, be my guide in whatever I do in everyday. These I ask in Your Almighty Name. Amen.

10.10.10 = Awesome Day

I didn’t know it was 10.10.10 today until my friends told me that it’s a lucky day.

Today was a blessing. It’s an inspiration. I don’t want that overwhelming feeling I had in church to ever disappear. I want it in my heart forever, alive and burning!

I actually had a sleepover at my friend’s place. I needed company and it’s been a while since I’ve been with them. But all we did was really sleep and eat. Even this afternoon, after church. We slept after eating. We actually fell asleep while watching Monsters Inc. Funny.

Then they dropped me off and had dinner here at my place. They just actually left.

I’m thankful to God that I have friends like them. They’re two of many friends I know I’ll always have. And because of them, despite the hurt I’ve been feeling, I know I’m loved.

Thank you guys! And to my other friends who are always with me and making me smile, thank you! You just don’t know what it means to mean that you make me laugh despite the tears I’ve been shedding.
