My date this Valentine’s Day

It’s weird. I was playing FFIX just a while ago and it made me realize: I’m playing an RPG that has more romance than action this month of February!

Ah, the.. Uhm.. ‘perks’ of being single~ A date with a book, your bed, a pillow, a cuppa hot tea, a guitar, a laptop, or a PSP.

I don’t know. I never wake up to good morning texts or shit like that. I usually just wake up, yell out “fuck,” roll over and read last night’s texts that I received while I was asleep. That’s how my life has been for a while, now. No one really hits me up first. No one says “Hey, wanna go grab a cup of coffee right now?” No one.

Why do I even bother sometimes.

jinn2012: 26 January 201226/366 Blossoms Today was real hectic and tiring. Mind you, it was also hot that it gave me a real bad headache! I didn’t get a good sleep. I woke up with a bloody nose. Turned out I had this internal fever going on. But I had to go to school to meet up with my group mates to tally our questionnaires for our thesis. What I wasn’t expecting after tallying would be a trip to Bell Church. It was my first time to visit the place. Reminded me of Hong Kong, though it’s small compare to Lantau and other monasteries I’ve been to. Shauna, Parker, and I goofed around a little before lighting up incense. We were throwing coins on the so-called wishing well. Parker and I were able to have our coins shoot into the hole, otherwise could be said for Shauna. :P After waiting for 30 minutes, and playing around, we were able to light up incense, and said our prayers. After that we took a few photos. Parker and I became Shauna’s models for her photography class. We aren’t sure though if we were able to go with the theme. After the visit, Shauna and I had to go to back to school so we had to part ways with Parker. I stayed at the Mass Communications Laboratory to finish my write-ups for Evolution 2012 (which is tomorrow), and Shauna had to go teach dance steps to the English instructors. I stayed at the lab for 2 hours. Then I went with Shauna to the instructors, and we then headed to the new gym for rehearsals. No, I wasn’t part of the rehearsals, I was just there to submit my write-ups. Then I agreed that I’ll help out tomorrow for the stage make-up for the English Instructors. It’ll be fun! Only, I’ll be missing my photography class! :( Then I left earlier than Shauna since I didn’t have anything else to do.

Blossoms

Today was real hectic and tiring. Mind you, it was also hot that it gave me a real bad headache!

A pretty long and tiring day, if you ask me! Especially for me, who’s still sick and who walked under the sun! But we already bought tickets for the play Romeo and Juliet a few days ago so there was no turning back!

We then had lunch at Cuccinino at Porta Vaga. We both had the Today’s Special which was Tuna in Tomato Sauce (I forgot the Italian name..) While waiting for our meal, I noticed the cute red mail box! I asked Kuya Dar, their cook/chef, what it was for. He told us that it is their tip box! I’d like to have it for myself. Haha


Shauna at Mt. Cloud. Man, I have never seen her so.. engrossed! Shauna in a book store? Man, she was checking all the books out! It was new to me! Hahaha

jinn2012: 19 January 201219/366 Last Curtain Call SLU’s Drama Festival was held today. Geordane got cast as the main character of their one act play. For someone just joined the festival for the first time, you’d think he was a member for years! It made me realize that this will be the last time I will be able to watch Drama Fest. It’s my last year, my last semester in college. It’s one of those realizations that will hit you. I gotta be honest, I will miss being a college student. The perks of it: meeting different people; seeing people around you differently; the events that you think are boring but in fact will turn your life around. I have a few more weeks to go. I want to leave a mark. No, not as the ‘photographer’ my college sees me as; not as the ‘editor’ of the school publication. I want to leave a mark as me, Jinn/Genett, a student, a friend, an older sister, before I bow in front of the audience as I walk the plank. For someone who is sick, I’m not sure if I made sense. I know, I should have taken a picture of the play itself, or Geordane, but I was busy recording the play with my camera, so no photos. And Geordane was out of sight since he was internalizing his role and was busy painting. To tell you the truth, they were real good! I just stared the whole time. It was gripping! But I don’t want to watch the video since the whole play gave me goosebumps.

Last Curtain Call

SLU’s Drama Festival was held today. Geordane got cast as the main character of their one act play. For someone just joined the festival for the first time, you’d think he was a member for years!

It made me realize that this will be the last time I will be able to watch Drama Fest. It’s my last year, my last semester in college. It’s one of those realizations that will hit you. I gotta be honest, I will miss being a college student. The perks of it: meeting different people; seeing people around you differently; the events that you think are boring but in fact will turn your life around.

I have a few more weeks to go. I want to leave a mark. No, not as the ‘photographer’ my college sees me as; not as the ‘editor’ of the school publication. I want to leave a mark as me, Jinn/Genett, a student, a friend, an older sister, before I bow in front of the audience as I walk the plank.

For someone who is sick, I’m not sure if I made sense. I know, I should have taken a picture of the play itself, or Geordane, but I was busy recording the play with my camera, so no photos. And Geordane was out of sight since he was internalizing his role and was busy painting.

First Friday the 13th

I guess you can say that somehow Friday the 13th is bad. Look what happened to me!

This morning started out ok, though I can say that I did have a slight headache but it was nothing. I was able to walk around and get my parcel from the post office. What I didn’t expect was that I’d be down with fever. This sucks. But hey, the best part was getting the parcel, a late present from my best friend, Marina. Nothing beats getting a letter/present via snail mail!
